New Dutch Photography Talent
We believe in new talent. New is an annual book series celebrating the 100 best emerging Dutch photographers of the year since 2012. New is a platform bringing Dutch and Netherlands-based photography talents to the attention of galleries, museums, commercial and photography agencies, media companies and institutions that work with imagery.
New Dutch Photography Talent is powered by GUP.
GUP Magazine (Guide to Unique Photography) is an international publication on photography, connecting its communities with the sharpest conceptual photography, the latest photo books and events, and compelling writings about the contemporary world of photography. GUP has focused on the most exciting developments and emerging talents in photography since 2005.
Dutch Photography Talent of the Year
For the first time, this year we present the Dutch Photography Talent of the Year Award! The winner will be chosen from the 100 talents featured in the book, and he or she will be announced during the opening of the group exhibition in December.
The 100 greatest photography talents of the year will be chosen from all submissions by a jury consisting of photography experts:
Roy Kahmann, founder and owner of Kahmann Gallery, GUP magazine and Haute Photographie;
Erik Vroons, editor at large at GUP magazine and freelance curator;
Jorre Both, managing editor at GUP magazine and chief editor of Haute Photographie magazine;
Amelie Schüle, curator and responsible for the speakers programme, exhibitions, and onsite projects at Unseen;
Gregor Vos, lawyer at Brinkhof specialised in Intellectual Property (IP) on trademarks, designs and advertising;
Thomas Geerlings, founder and art director at Framework Studio.
